Movie and maga

Went to your 2nd movie ever! Maga came with. You were too cute. You talked through it a bit but all in all you were great! Rango wasn't too scary for you but I can see how it might be for some. Then we went out to dinner and spoiled you rotten. Another great weekend wrapped up.

Coming to a Theater Near you

Friend mocked this up from a shot I took over the weekend. Miles was sitting on the hill and said. "I'm mad at daddy" and turned away and crossed his arms. He now pretends to be mad like this. I crack up every time.

Miles is really into figuring out emotions right now. We read books and he likes to point out who is mad, sad, frustrated and happy. It is interesting what you observe. You have even taken to telling me if Coco or Roscoe are happy or sad.

Your pretend play is blowing up. You love playing with your dinos and cars. You have them talk to each other about helping you find stuff that is lost and asking how their day is going.

You have moved into the "loving" school stage and talk about going. You also are starting to talk to me about stuff you do at school and the kids you play with. I love hearing your interpretation of how things happen.

Some potty interest is going on but not 100%. We will get there someday!

Weekend!

This weekend was full of family time. We played and played. Farmers Market, Hair Cut, Hit the Pier, a few parks and had some serious family time.

You really won the girls over when you got your hair cut.  Also all weekend long you were asking Daddy and I "What are you talking about MommyDaddy?"

Feeling better

These shots were from earlier when you were JUST starting to feel better. Not good enough to get out of our PJs but good enough to smile and giggle!

Play!!!

This weekend was full of PLAY! We hit up a birthday party at Adventureplex. Daddy wore you out as you two ran around for a few hours in the play structure. When I asked you as I put you to bed Sunday night what your favorite thing was this weekend, after talking about birthday cake and ice cream... you announced that it was Daddy that was your favorite. I agree!

Breakfast

You helped me make some mini chocolate croissants this week. You gobbled them up and were loving helping me in the kitchen. After that you moved onto Cherrios. You finally got your appetite back and it makes me smile. You were too skinny after being sick for almost 3 weeks!

Playroom almost done

Couch came in this week! Now we just have to paint the room and the playroom will be 95% done! Small details to come as we add a new member to the family. I am loving this room and so are you!

Sick

Coughing still so went to the dr. Sinus infection and slight double eat infections. Antibiotics but no cough meds. Hopefully you are better soon.

New Word

Yesterday you said this word and I feel over laughing. You were so cute when you said it as well. Today I had to get it on film. I kinda forced you to say it but still cute

Hand Holding

Lately you love to sit and hold my hand. Sometimes you even want mento hold your hand while I drive. It is sweet and I live your little fingers wrapped in my huge hand. I will take it while I can still get it.

Mall music

Hit the mall up. 2x a month they have free live children's entertainment. With the cloudy drizzle weather it was perfect. You danced a bit and we had some laughs. Will try again.

I Wish I Was Here

lately I have been itching to be back on the beach with my family. Looking back on all the photos you are just so happy in ALL of them. Guess that is what constant 24/7 parent attention does. You have already gotten so much bigger than you were in this photo about 5 months ago. I can only imagine how much bigger you will be in another 5.

Ohio Trip

I still have to post photos from our Ohio trip that we took about 3 weeks ago.  Here is a quick video of my drummer boy working it at Grandma's and Grandpa's house. This is why I won't be purchasing a drum anytime soon.
