Ouchie

First big ouchie from school. You actually fell while I was there. It was really red but the next day looked great. You actually didn't talk about it at all. I thought you were going to want to tell me all about it. Naw... just another day at the office. All he wanted to do was jump and play

New Word

Yesterday you said this word and I feel over laughing. You were so cute when you said it as well. Today I had to get it on film. I kinda forced you to say it but still cute

Ohio Trip

I still have to post photos from our Ohio trip that we took about 3 weeks ago.  Here is a quick video of my drummer boy working it at Grandma's and Grandpa's house. This is why I won't be purchasing a drum anytime soon.

More Cookie Shots

Daddy took some shots and video of our quick cookie session Sunday. I will try to post videos later. We love our new camera ;) you can tell in Miles' eyes that he isn't feeling good. Poor kid! Sugar helps right?

Flashlights!!

Daddy hooked him up this morning with some flashlights this a.m. And little man hasn't put them down yet. Currently he is napping with them. Miles was so bummed daddy had to go to work today and has been talking about it here and there. That boy loves his daddy so much!

Sold the Couch

Sold our white couch today because we moved the whole house around and it landed in the playroom. A white couch in a boys playroom is just danger. So... off to craigslist it went.

Without a couch in the playroom my boys improvised. Thank goodness we already ordered the new one today! 2 weeks until delivery.

Sick :(

Went to the dr but didn't need any meds. Just a bad cold. Poor guy is coughing so hard he throws up. Hope you feel better soon.

Playtime

Hiding in a box, pretending it is a boat or a house... all lead to a good time. Also here are some shots of you at a play date the other day. So cute!

After the appointment

After our easy 22 week baby doctor appointment we went to go see the ducks and play. You loved throwing the food and talking to the ducks. they were sleepy so you were able to get close. Then it was on to a new park. I love taking you to new parks and watching you run from station to station exploring new items. Once we had all our fun, we hit up Starbucks and went to visit Daddy at work for a bit. It has been a while since you have seen him with all the travel so any extra time you get makes you smile from ear to ear.

Nap time

Today you weren't tired around nap time. You had relaxed and slept in your room till about 8a.m. so it wasn't a surprise. I wasn't changing out schedule so down you went. I found you relaxing on our bed again. You were sweet and just relaxing there. I took you back to bed and laid down with you for a few minutes. You were talking up a storm. Not hyper but just chatty. You looked at me and said "Your pretty mama" as you took your sweet little hand and stroked my face. Ahhh I melted! You also looked at me and said "Daddy is my best friend" and when I asked if I could be too you said "Yes" You were fascinated with my hair and kept asking about the hairband I had. "Where did you get that mama?" Then you went on to talk about random things like. "You have two ears mama. Daddy does too." At that time I knew it was time to check out and let you nap. Hopefully you fall asleep for a little bit. If not, let the fun continue... we will go outside and play.

Watercolors

Today we watercolored outside. You took to your legs more than the paper. We giggled and colored for a while. When you were done we put you in the utility sink to wash up. You told me "I'm like Roscoe!" and you were right. That is where Roscoe is bathed. I am sure we will be doing this again soon.

Just a few notes

Tonight I put you to bed. You weren't ready but it was time. You actually came downstairs about 30 minutes later to say hi. That is a first. I went back upstairs with you and put you back to bed.

About another 20 minutes later I heard some noise. I went upstairs to find your door open. It was dark up there so turned on the bathroom light. I saw your little body sitting on my bed in all the pillows next to Coco. I went in there and sat next to you. you told me that you were looking out the window at the moon. You wanted to lay in my bed. It was so sweet, so innocent and cute. From there we went back to your room and you talked and talked. You really weren't talking to me but practicing putting your sentences together. You were repeating the same things over and over.


Last night you spend at Maga and Papa's house. From what I heard, you were no where to be found in the morning. Maga called out your name and you said "I'm hiding in the closet" you were in there with your dee tee and turtle hanging out. Who knows how long you had been hiding.

Also just as a note, i love the way you say dinosaur. DINOSWORDS. RAWR!

Big Bad Wolf

Miles saw one episode of wonder pets on tv about the big bad wolf and couldn't stop talking about it. Now he pretends all the time that he is the wolf and blows our house down.

5 Days of Daddy

Miles is one lucky kid.  Thursday - Monday he got full daddy time.  Today we went to an ultrasound and after that we decided to try to look at strollers. Of course the place was closed so we went to Giggles and Hugs.  Had a blast and ran into a friend. Small world.   Love those days where you really don't have to be anywhere at a certain time.
