The Orange "Chair"

This video shows Miles playing with one of his Easter gifts.  I giggle.

FOUND... Videos from the past

There are some videos that did not make it to post. I dug some out last night and will post them over the next day or so.

We will start with our latest travels, NOLA.  A visit to the aquarium and a rekindled love for turtles.

NOGGIN' DUDE!

NOLA More and More...

Miles and I went for a walk one evening. He was so excited to find rocks on the walk that it made me giggle. He then proceeded to try to put them in his "pocket" (diaper) over and over. I had to show him again where it pockets actually were. He was so cute walking in his little cut offs.

NOLA AGAIN

Finally Sleeping!  A 2 hour nap was so needed.

Nola

Spending a long weekend in New Orleans was amazing. We finally got to visit Chloe who is now 7 months. She is the happiest baby I have ever met.

Miles was a trooper as he was sleep deprived over the trip. Visiting the aquarium was his highlight as they had the biggest turtles we have seen.

Again with the Talking

Putting 2 words together and I can't stand it!  Oh so cute.

Then I finally captured this on video... i need to get one where you are standing up.  The Mingo...

When I say "stand like a flamingo!" You stand on one leg. It is so stinkin' cute!  You also were signing play over and over as we waiting for baby gym to start. You were one excited boy today.

New Trick

He likes to open doors. He finally can reach them.

Now on to another... double doors!

Normal Old Monday

Started sippin' milk watching Wubbzy. Lately that is your favorite. We then hit up home depot to get some flowers. You LOVE flowers lately and after spending the weekend at the Lemley's I wanted some flowers on our back patio too!

I have a new iphone app so i tested it out on some of the photos below.
After that we hit up Gymboree. You liked class this week, unlike last. But 10 minutes before class was over you ran to the door, pushed it open and in a sea of strollers found yours. You climbed in and said "All Done... eat... cracker" So I handed you some crackers and you dove into them like you worked up an insane appetite.

Naptime and then we hit a new park in Manhattan Beach.  Ducks and slides made you a happy kid.  Before we left for the park you put together your second set of "2 words"  we were leaving and you said " Bye Bye Coco!"  normally the only 2 words you put together is Apple Juice. You say it over and over. Funny because you don't drink it.

Beyond that I have a few videos I have been meaning to post. I will have to get on that.  This past few weeks your naps have been really short leaving me less time to sneak in a blog post.

Wiggle worm this morning as the eye got worse. Didn't crush his mood though!

MINGO MINGO

I have been trying to blog more but getting back in shape (running) getting the photography business going and keeping up with an 18 month old can be draining!

Miles is learning new words all the time. Some are sweet, some make me laugh. Lately he says "OPEN" and waves his arms like he is a magician to open doors, elevators or the garage door. So commanding!

I have to say that flamingo is one of my favorites as of late. We went to the zoo to see them after he took an interest in the animal. We have a set of animal flashcards and he loves to go through them. Hippo, Flamingo and Snake are some of the new ones he loves.

Small video from just before our trip to the zoo.

Windy day at the park

Yesterday the weather called for rain but it didn't show up. We went to the park after your nap and were the only ones there beyond the middle school kids messing around. You lasted for about 30 minutes and then we decided it was too windy and headed out. It was great to get out of the house and get some fresh windy air.

Bubbles and Color

You crack me up daily. You want to try everything and are so interested in how things work. Today you wanted to blow your own bubbles.

Also your littler personality is charming... yesterday you moved to your own beat when you colored at the table

Weekend

These photos are from daddy time on Saturday. I had a photoshoot all day and Evan was super dad. Running Miles to the beach and a birthday party.

He LOVED the ball pit. He would fall in and giggle. Then he would ask for help to get out only to dive back in again.

This 18 month old is hard enough to keep up with let alone photograph anymore.

Slacker this week

I stink at my blog this week. I am trying i swear ;)

MILES IS 18 MONTHS NOW! (bigger post later)

here is a little video of Miles from earlier in the week. Will try to get some fun stuff today as we go to the Science museum.

and P.S. got a few notes about Miles turning the car on. Since it is a Prius he wasn't able to start it without putting his foot on the break at the same time. Evan can barely reach so I think Miles is safe just turning on the radio with the button for a while.
