The boys

Teacher birthday card

STICKER CHART

You have been having a hard time staying in bed when we say "Good Night" you have also been DYING for a Monster Truck. Boys... go figure. You watch strawberry shortcake movies but want monster trucks. I love it.

So I got some ideas from Auntie Megan and whipped up this cracky looking sticker chart. If you fill it up, Monster Truck Time!

You have been working towards it and the days we don't put stickers on it you notice. I don't think enough though because 2 days before you hit your goal you revolted again. It took another week before you filled it up. (Picture to come) Once Daddy gets home we will have to go get your truck. I hope this makes you stay in bed at night because lately it is really tough on me. I still love you though. Always will.

A lot of photos about nothing

I need to pick up my camera more. Daddy has been using it a ton for work. I haven't been able to use it in a while. Below are some random shots I took as you fell into your iphone "I am obsessed with puzzles" zone.

You are so darn good at those puzzles. It amazes me. I don't have to help much. I love seeing how you pick up the skills.

Notice you have some tattoos on your feet and back. You are very persistant as to where they are placed.

In the same play session, you go to extremes. From iphone technology to the simplicity of the stackable cups. Those have been in the house since you were probably 3 months old and are always a toy that gets played with. You were building "daddy's work" as you stacked up the towers.

Swimming Again

We are back in the pool. Have been for about a month. Go figure it takes me that long to get photos off my camera, prep them and then actually take a few minutes to post them on your blog. I guess my iphone photos make it up faster than that.

This year I was so excited to get in the pool. I was a bit nervous on a few counts. Would you like the water? and What would I do with my newborn son while we were swimming.

Well both of my worries were silly. This year you LOVE the water. Even requesting night swims after school. Ash has been a terrific sleeper and will just relax in his stroller while we play.

It took about a week and then you were peddling around the pool yourself with your floaty on. Now you want to take it off and take your chances. Good timing because your swim classes start next week and they are not very kind. They are serious swim classes. Don't drown swim classes. Daddy is taking you. Thank God because I don't know if i have the heart.

Just happy that we have an easy access pool and you love it. I can have us in there 15 minutes after we get home from school and back in time for us to bbq some chicken outside for dinner. Really enjoying summer this year with you. Such a big boy.
