Crayons

Easter Bunny brought some crayons. We have tried them at brunch numerous times but you always ended up seeing how they tasted. I taped down a peice of paper and let you have at it. You didn't eat a single color but did draw on your face a bit.

Hello Kitty

We went to the mall the other day to get pictures with the bunny. You were so excited to see this kitty too you almost jumped straight of Daddy's shoulders to go say hi. You ran into the store and started to hug and kiss Hello Kitty. You even turned around and let me take this quick picture of you. This is why I love having a camera phone. I would miss sweet moments like this. Sometimes it doesn't matter how great the photo is, it is just how perfect it captures that memory.

Miles jumped off daddy's shoulders to see this little kitty. He ran
into the store and straight into the window. Gave her kisses and
smiled for the picture

Easter Bunny 2010

Went to get pictures with the bunny yesterday.

Here is last years photo

He actually liked the bunny unlike THIS classic Santa photo.  He waved and hopped and smiled.  Miles stared at the bunny for a good long while. He wouldn't sit on the bunny's lap so this year we had to jump in the photo as well.

I Love His Run

He runs with all his might and so enthusiastically that it makes me smile ever time.

At the park

Before picking up grandparents we headed to the park. You weren't too
into playing so we left to get a bite to eat.

Potty

Miles has been using the potty on and off. Mostly when he asks for it.  I caught him signing and saying potty today.  Sounds like Bobby if you ask me.

Next I have to catch him making his monkey kiss Plex the robot and signing I LOVE YOU.  which currently just looks like a waving fist. But I know what it means.

The Screen

You are sick. We went to the doctor Monday and had a breathing treatment.  You are feeling better but we have been trapped in the house more than usual and are making due.

This a.m. it was the sliding door that got us giggling. You can see why

California Speeday

it was hot... he was sick and tired... but he still had a good time. Daddy was happy that he shares his love for "Bikes"but as you can see below... he also likes tires.

Fell asleep on the walk back to the car.  And when we had to wake you, you were all smiles and funny faces.  Your hair was crazy with a mix of sweat, sunscreen and water that we poured over your head to cool you down.

A Boy and his Rosoce

Went to the park today and Miles chased Roscoe around. He eventually
let him take his leash. Some day I will catch them cuddling.

Horses and Chickens

Miles went up to our friend's ranch the other day to meet some horses and test out his ranch hand skills.

Little guy loves animals but didn't want to touch or ride the gentle beasts.

He was put to work though.  Nothing is free!

Tried his best to feed the horses but still wasn't sure about them

The Chickens were more his pace.

Thanks again Grace, Jack and Megan for taking us to your Grandparents Ranch.  We loved it and can't wait to go back again soon.

17 months late

So I didn't post your monthly update. This is a first! So here are some bits from the last month

- You run everywhere. You don't walk.
- You started to sign "I love you" but it only is a fist waving. You do it in return when I sign at you.
- You have lightened up on Nemo but love the zoo and are always asking for animals.
- Top and bottom teeth still cutting through.
- You can crawl out of your crib. I have caught you every time so you haven't fallen out yet.
- New words and signs are popping up daily. Yesterday it was "Cry" when you heard a baby at ikea. Today it is "shiny" as daddy gave you a keychain to play with this morning.

Easter is around the corner and we can't wait to do a little easter egg hunt and we will have a visit from Grandma and Grandpa.
