Run bike

We got Miles a run bike for his birthday. So far he likes. He will ride if for a minute and then get off and push it around for a while. This video is Miles testing it out. Next time I will get him out of the garage.

His First Big Apple

YUM! I had to start it for him but after that his little rabbit teeth dug in.

Walking more

Today Miles turned a corner. Until today he walked until he fell and then he would crawl away. Now when he falls he pops back up and
continues to move.

Little guy wasn't feeling the best today but still was moving around the house quickly.

Sunday the Pumpkin Patch and Park

Grandma and Grandpa were in town for one more day! We took advantage and went to the pumpkin patch and the playground. Miles was walking around testing out his new found talent of the two step while we chased him. Train ride with Grandma and the petting zoo with Grandpa topped off the weekend.




I love this smile! All I have to do is look at a picture like this and I can get through the rest of my workday knowing I get to cuddle my little guy in a few short hours.

Amazing Weekend

Monday morning and I have what feels like a birthday hangover. So exhausted from all the weekend festivities. Will be posting photos and such soon. It will be roughly a week before the birtday photos are available for me to share with you all.

Kara from Kara Frans Photography was there to capture all of the moments. I am so glad she was because it left me to enjoy the entire day with my family. Hug and kiss Miles as much as I could as well as know that there will be a cute "cake in the face" shot at the end of the party.

My parents are packing up to leave back to Cleveland now. We had so much fun and as always, it went to fast.

Did he really have to get Miles this?

Oh well, he looks happy enough on it.

Birthday Boy

Miles,

Today you turned 1 year old. I took the day off work and we hung out. Went to play gym with some of your buddies and then hung out at home and laughed all afternoon.

For dinner you had your first dive into sweets. You at the whole cupcake in record time. Impressed. Can't wait to see you go for the mini cake on Saturday!

Normally I would write a long sappy heartfelt letter on the blog but instead i am going to save it for my soon to be annual letter to you on your birthday. I will be writing it and placing it in your box for you to read when you get older. Older? I can't handle this!

Pumpkin Patch

Miles went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday. We went to the petting zoo. Miles made a little friend in a baby goat. Little guy laughed and laughed as the goat let Miles pet him. Road the train and looked at a few pumpkins. Below is the flickr set of some pictures.

Sunday Boy

Miles favorite word is "Ball" so when I busted this sucker out he went crazy for about 10 minutes saying "Ball, Ball, Ball" over and over.

Little guy is so talkative right now. Some of the favorite words are Books, Dog, Bird, Ball, Mama, Dada and Baba.

Swing in the Sun

I had a few shots left in my camera before my battery died this weekend. I was bummed it choose THIS time to die but my fault for not charging it.

I got a few shots of Miles in the swing with the sun beaming down on him. Not sure which one I like best. I mean, he is my son so how can I be objective?
