Mochi!

Miles loves his new neighbor Joshua and his dog Mochi. We stopped by to visit unexpectedly and found they weren't home. Miles could hear Mochi barking and was obsessed.

Hair and Muscles

Your hair is getting out of control. I love it though so we will see how long it gets. Your muscles are just as cute as always. You flexed on a playdate this week. I was dying because you looked too funny in your "Sheriff Woody" PJ bottoms and buff muscles.

Bedtime Story

Below is a quick bedtime story Mommy read to you the night we got back from the 4th of July camping. We were are wiped!

Aquarium Again and Again

The aquarium is ALWAYS a hit. I think we are getting our annual pass a run for it's money.

Today you went with 2 girls just about your age. The aquarium is so much more fun when you have friends to run around with. Snapped a few iphone photos. At the end of today you were SO tired. I wasn't surprised.

On another note, you now love sharks. For a while there you were scared of the scene in 'Finding Nemo' where Marlin meets Bruce. Now you kiss your Bruce shark good night, give him hugs and giggle as we make him attack Mommy and Daddy.

And again to let you know how much I love you, whenever you hug me I make sure that I am not the first to let go. I would hug you for hours if you wanted.

On Our Way...

On our way to the camping trip, Miles' little face was lit by the iphone. His little face was all I could see from the front seat.

Adventure!

With the icky weather this week, I wasn't feeling the park again so we went on an adventure! You loved it and I could barely keep up with you to snap these iphone photos. You were SO tired after this. I mean climbing up and down, around and then sliding for a solid hour and a half is a WORKOUT. You also had a snack after. Some moments more than others make me sit back and realize how old you are. It gets harder and harder. Sometimes it is when I go to change your diaper and you don't have the yummy rolls on your legs anymore or other times it is more like the images below, you sitting in a chair eating yogurt with a spoon all by yourself with making VERY LITTLE mess. Sigh, that went fast.

Drivers watch out

He went swimming!!!

Yes it finally happened. No pictures because I was solo but here is Miles wiped out after.

It started with him throwing in the water gun and reaching in to get it. Then we splashed for a while. I will admit it took about 25 minutes to get him in the water but patience prevailed and in the end he was leaping off the edge of the pool into my arms, blowing bubbles in the water and kicking to the side of the pool to get out on the steps by himself. I was smiling ear to ear. The only thing that would have made it better was if Daddy was there.

Lemon Moon

Lunch with Daddy after Baby Gym today. At first Daddy was mad you wouldn't share your fries. I think he got over it. I hope you got some potato with all the ketchup you ate today. Either way, a busy day wore you out and by the end of it all you wanted to do was hang out in your diaper and watch Madagascar 2 with me for 20 minutes before bed.

Rocks!!!

You are obsessed with rocks. Sometimes I can't tell if you want to go for a walk or get rocks. It sounds almost the same! I should just assume you want to pick up rocks until you grow out of this phase. You diligently pick them up and hand them over to me.

Spoon

Dinner on the patio is a must in summer. You ate your yogurt like a big boy with your spoon like a pro. You fell on the playground today and cut up your nose. Looks like you got in a fight. You should see the other guy. Little video at the bottom as well.

Even Better!!!

You had a bath today at 9:30 in the am. I didn't mind because you WANTED ONE! I was able to fill up the tub and you were all smiles. Makes me happy!
