6 am Wake up Call

One of the perks of living where we live is the beach. Miles, Roscoe and I went to the beach for a walk this morning after we woke up. I bundled that kid up so warm and he was excited to see the water. We talked the whole walk. "What is that guy doing mama?" "Look bikes!" "That guy has a hat on!" and so on and so on. We hit the playground on the way back and little man ran around for a bit. The cool air was amazing and watching the sun come up is always an amazing way to start the day. Miles favorite thing was the tractor that was grooming the sand. We got to see it up close and personal too.

I accidentally found your blog when I hit "next blog" and it was one of the most welcome mistakes I ever made. I recently became unemployed (can you tell by the blog name) and for the time being am lucky enough to be home when my wife and kids arrive. That was not always the case and I realize the daily interactions you have with Miles are both so tender yet fleeting they are ones that can never be recaptured. You articulate your moments so well they are captivating to say the least. I am enjoying every additional time I have with my family.
