Historic Day

This morning the family gathered around the tube to watch the historic day. Miles... now you can look back and say where you were when the first African American President was inaugurated.

After walking past our Evan Hecox piece a few times I started to notice miles couldn't take his eyes off of it. We can spend a 10 min. in front of that piece while his little eyes dart from left to right taking it all in

Look Ma...

Look Ma, I found my hands.

Miles at mommy and me today was a drool machine who was chomping on all 5 fingers. At times he tried to get both hands in his mouth at once. Impressive little man.

We hit up travel town this weekend. Daddy and Miles loved the trains.

3 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!

How is it possible that something that keeps you awake day and night, screams in your face, poops on you, barfs on you, and burps in your face can bring you so much joy...

It is the sparse smiles, the googoo eyes, the joyful giggles. These items don't happen all the time but when they do they have this effect that makes all the stress, exhaustion, and pure frustration completely disappear.

After a marathon day I finally got Miles down at 1:30am and I was exhausted and stressed but I looked over and he was smiling in his sleep and it just made me so proud and happy, it really is awesome being a parent!!
