i heart faces - babies

I haven't entered in a while. When I saw this was the topic of the week I knew what shot I would have to enter. Sorry Miles it isn't you. It is your friend Kaeden that I took last month. He is going to kill the girls with those eyes. Check out all the baby submissions at I Heart Faces

For more of my stuff  and shots from Kaeden's Session you can check out my site or facebook page

Swimming

Amazing pool in Denver. Miles got used to the water after 10 minutes and then played and played. One step closer to full on swimming.

General Wednesday

Running around the house on Wednesday I snapped some shots.

The ones of you in the crib didn't even come close to capturing how sweet you looked. You put DT and Turtle's little face outside the crib so that I would kiss them. You cuddled them and said "Ni Night"

Your hair was crazy so when I took the rubberband out of my hair you snagged it and asked me to put your hair up. You ran to the mirror (which you sometimes call a window) and laughed. You didn't pull it out right away. Instead you ran around like a maniac laughing.

First time using this type of slideshow. we will see how I like.

Zimmer Museum

We finally visited the Zimmer Museum today. The hours haven't worked with our schedule and now that the RIE class is on summer hiatus we were able to make it.

It reminded me of the Children's Museum in Cleveland and am excited to have something a bit closer to home.

We got their early and was glad we did. When we left it was really getting crowded.   We will be going back soon.

Some of your favorites...
- Plane you can climb in and drive
- Ambulance you can also drive (theme here)
- Tree/porch where you drover a little car around for about 30 minutes.

A Few of My Favorite Things

You are a boy with changing tastes. Thought I would start posting some of your favorite things so I can keep up with you.

Still holding strong...

Your Favorite book right now. We read it before nap and bed.
Your buddies keep you company in the crib. Turtle and DT.

Okay so I am throwing this one in for me!
Miles Ultimate favorite right now.

Nummy!

Today you said Tummy for the first time and I was dying. NUMMY!

I tried to get it on video. No luck. I will get it soon.  Instead here is a sweet picture of you as you laugh at yourself in the mirror today.

Afternoon

Today was a normal Monday. You have been coughing at night so the fact you slept in till 8:30 was amazing. Of course you do it on the morning when we were going to meet friends for a run but whatever... you come first.

After nap we played in the backyard/water and splashed away. After you were all wet I put a really big tee on you and we ran around outside. I love the little boy in the big tee. It made me realize you are still little. Even though every day you make me cry a little as I realize you are a big boy.

Relaxing

Yesterday

Hit up the aquarium after being in the house for 2 days. Nice fresh air.

It was crazy there after an hour. For some reason every school was having a field trip! We headed out after 2 hours both exhausted.

P.S. your hair is out of control but I can't bring myself to cut it.

First Gymnastics Class

Today was your first gymnastics class.  I wasn't able to snap any shots because you were running around the WHOLE time.

Class was a first for you. The first time you didn't have "free play"  You had to to follow directions from the instructor. Things when in bursts. You would be focused on class for a while and going with it then all of a sudden a ball or the trampoline would spark your attention and you would want to run away. I wouldn't let you.  This was hard. You would cry and cry. Then you would perk up and join the class for a bit. This cycle went on for the 45 minutes. At the end of class you sat on the red line and waited your turn for a sticker. I was proud.  I think we will be doing this again. There are good lessons to be learned in this class.

After we went to target and picked up some odds and ends. You were SO tired when we got home you crashed. I am sure all that was exhausting. I know it got me.
