37 1/2 week picture LATE

So last week was a tad busy... so this picure is late.

This weekend we worked on the nursery. We are waiting to get some of our final art pieces before we hang stuff on the walls. Also have to get some mats cut for other framed bits. Hopefully this weekend we will have it all done. Crib won't be here until early November so the pack and play is in it's place for now.

Evan pointed out that every night it seems I wake up at 1:14...

I have now noticed he is RIGHT! 3 nights in a row I have woken up at this time.

Odd but true.

In the 'teens'

So the countdown has begun...EighTEEN days until Miles due date. Also since it is finally October this feels so much closer now. He will be here this month :)

It is all sinking in. Everything is falling into place and I feel way better than I thought I would at this point in the pregnancy.

We are ready when you are. Carpet goes in this week... finishing the nursery this weekend and then.......waiting....... and more waiting....

36 1/2 week belly shot

So here is my 36 1/2 week belly shot. I went through old photos and i have a 16 week belly shot that I also tossed in there. What a difference 20 weeks makes.

People are starting to stare at me in public thinking I might burst or something in front of them. Seriously? Hasn't everyone seen a pregnant woman before?

36 weeks... I really dont' think I can take flattering pictures anymore!

Less than a MONTH!

We have less than a month until Miles is due! Had our growth ultrasound today and this guy is looking like he will be around 7 1/2 to 8 lbs. So right around average for a boy.

Got to see his little heart beating again today on the ultrasound monitor. Can't wait to meet him.

Carpet should be in by end of next week. Now all I have to do is pack my hospital bag and do a tad more laundry and we are all ready for Miles.

Too Much to do

Ok so I have been so excited for the last 8 months for the arrival of Miles my first son! (ok weird to type that, hehe). The thing that no one tells you is the insane feeling you get towards the end that there is so much that needs to be done before his arrival.

I don't know why but I feel like I have a million things to do before he comes, but when I make a list there really is not much left on it.

The hardest part for me is that my wonderful wife is also my business partner and that means that she will be MIA from the business for a period of time. This situation fits the old saying "you don't know what you have till you loose it" perfectly.

So all you guy's be prepared for this weird occurrence around the 8th month cause it is uncontrollable!

35 weeks

Picture of my 35 week belly. It is really late on Monday night and I can barely keep my eyes open in this picture.

Everyone is commenting how I have dropped. All I know is that I don't need as many tums as I used to... so thankful for less heartburn!

Carpet!!

Ordered the carpet today for upstairs... Should have it installed by
the first week in October.

This makes me way too happy.
