Summer

Gymnastics and water play on a hot afternoon

Pirate book!

This shot is at 6 a.m. in our bed. Miles is watching a tv show on our ipad and Evan is snuggling with him.

That day we went to the library for the first time. I can't believe it has taken me this long to get the kid there but he enjoyed it so we will be going again. Checked out 4 books. One HAD to be a pirate book. He was so excited that he found it himself. He dove into the book in the car reading it to me. We took it to the park and read it on a bench. From there he played, ran and climbed all over the playground till it was time to go to school. This boy can now tackle any part of the playground. It is so refreshing to know that I can let him run around without worry he is going to attempt something beyond his still level. Below is a shot of the playground climbing structure that he has mastered. Up and down, left and right my monkey can handle it all.

Updates needed!

I need to update your site with some serious photos. With a 3 week old and your busy little self I have been keeping busy. I have photos to go through and post. Here are some from your last day as an only child.  We took you to the park after nap and ran around giggling.  Later the next day you earned the title of Big Brother.

Park Splash

Playing with Penelope today and splashing enough to keep warm. You guys have a love hate relationship. You love each other and then you are hating. Either way, you always leave the playdate crying because you want to hang out more! On the drive over to the park you asked us where we were going. When I told you who was going to be there you said "They LOVE ME" and you are right they do. We are lucky to have friends in our lives that care for our kids as much as we do.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!

Miles did 2 paintings for Daddy this year. One at school and one we did at home. They are now proudly displayed at work.

New Class

We tried a demo class for language and music. Miles was so cute bouncing around and playing the instruments. I was surprised by how much he liked the language portion of the class. This is so hard because at this point you are just wanting to explore everything. I find that I want to sign up for all these classes when i see you light up. Gymnastics, swim, language, music, art.... yikes I don't want to shuffle you from one class to another but I am going to have sign up for one of two.
