Halloween 2010

Halloween this year was a blast! we carved pumpkins, shot silly string and ran around our complex ringing doorbells. Miles walked the majority of the time and was saying 'Trick or Treat' now and then. He mostly wanted to get his chubby fingers in the bowls of candy and pick his own treat. M&Ms to be exact. That kid loves them! He wasn't scared a bit and I was proud. He loves the pumpkin patch. We went a few times and talks about it still. From riding the trains to seeing animals, this kid knows how to have a good time.

I laugh because I guess uncle bob is coming to your party. I hope he knows.

2 Years Old

Happy Birthday Baby! You are now 2. The past week you have been walking around talking about CAKE and Birthday Party! When I ask you how old you are going to be you hold up 4 fingers and say "TWO!" Saturday will be a blast and I am sure you will run around like a maniac.

You are starting to put together 5 word sentences and are telling me your emotions as they come to you. School is a favorite. Today you wanted to go right after you woke up after nap. You still like to be carried even though you can walk. You give great hugs and love your feet tickled. I can barely keep shoes on your feet. You like to pick your shirts in the morning.

Potty training is around the corner. You tell me when you go and now it is just a matter of getting you to the pot before it happens. Buzz and Woody are some of your favorites as well as Jessie. You want to help with everything and sometimes getting in the car seat takes forever. You love telling me stories and "Look Mommy Look! Over Here! Right There!" as you point to something in the distance. You are so passionate about it I giggle every time.

You are a parrot. Almost anything I say you will repeat. Hard words like armadillo or octopus don't stop you. I am always amazed at the stuff you are picking up.

You have made this year the best year of my life. Shhhh don't tell Daddy but I bet if you ask him, he will say the same thing. Sometimes at night I think about how I couldn't possibly love you any more than I do now. Then I wake up and walk in your room. I see your smiling face and realize how wrong I was. I only hope that your life it as full as you have made mine. I love you. That is one thing you don't say yet. You do sign it. I will take it any way I can.

Breakfast with my boys

Up early and out for a breakfast during the week. Nice to mix it up and get some quiet time together.

Color!

Love the roll of butcher paper we bought 5 years ago. Roll it out in the garage and let him to go town on it. Who needs lines to color within!

What's Up Baby!

Miles is always saying "What's up Daddy!" whenever he talks to his Daddy. I thought he should start to learn how to work it with the ladies.

The best part of friends birthday parties!

Anna turned 2 and you loved it! You kept saying "Happy Birthday!" and then the next day when I said we were going to play with Anna again you said.... "Cake!" oh my.

Camping in Rincon

Took a few days off to camp with great friends. Hawaii pictures delayed for more beach time!

First day of school

Today was your first day of school. It crept up so fast. I guess going on vacation and planning birthdays makes time fly.

Today as I drove you to school we talked about it again and again. You were sad to leave Buzz in the car but gave me some funny faces before we got out of the car.

You cried a bit when I left. I had some Polaroids I snapped while you were napping today so you could look at them and talk about them with your class. A photo of the pups, the cat, dee tee and of course your loving parents.

I picked you up 3 hours later and all you wanted to do was show me all the new stuff you did. When I asked you if you had a great time with your new friends and all you could do was smile from ear to ear. You were so happy there. I can't wait to see how much you grow, learn and laugh there.

Daddy was so jealous that he wasn't able to join me today. I took a few photos. SHOCKING
