Emme is already 6 months old!

I was lucky enough to photograph this little 6 month old girl when she came to visit a week or so ago. She was happy and gave me a few good smiles the whole time. I updated my site with a few shots of this blue eyed girl. I couldn't resist

At the Playground ... You know

So brave, my little man. You head face-first down the slide now without hesitation. You say "WEEEEE" all the way down and at the bottom just before you are done you area already saying "More, More!" Below is one of the ONLY shots I got of you and Emme before she left. So hard to wrangle you at this age.  I don't even try at times. I just embrace it.

Pampers Relay on the website

Here is your crawling cameo on the Pampers website.

Your cute butt was selected to be in the "Best of" TV Commercial that airs on Sunday for the first time. Set your DVR to the Today Show from 6-7 PST to see it.  I will post it once it is online as well.

Playground

Running around the playground today and being the lovable maniac he is. "Bouncy Bouncy" as Dad says when you go over the bridge. At the end of the footage I skipped over to Miles because that wasn't a slide. It was a climb wall. He didn't care, slide down that going over every hold/bump and giggled.

Little Updates

Just a few things that you have been up to lately

- When you hear/see a plane or helicopter you say "pane pane... bye byyye bye byyye" and wave your little hand at the sky.

- I was holding you today in my arms and you were resting your head on my shoulder. When you picked your head up, I rested my head on your shoulder. You giggled and wrapped your little arms around my neck and held me some more.

- When it is bedtime, after your 3 b (well 2 b and 1 sippy) you let me hold you for a few. Now you tell me when you are ready to go into your crib by pointing to it.

- naps and bedtime have been "cry free" since I have been a SAHM. Normally you would cry for a minute or so. Now you are easy to bed. You were always a good sleeper (after 4 1/2 months!) but now there are no tears which makes me so happy.

- Music... that is a new word that you are saying. it is one i have to get on video because it is too much.

- You sign "Cold" but you can't say it at all. you don't even try. In the tub we turn the water from cold to hot and you sign the temperature after your little hands test it out.

- Sleep... you are sleeping in late now. Bed at 7 or 7:30 and you will sleep/chill in bed until about 8 a.m. Today I had to wake you at 8:20.

Daddy was Right

I said it... There

You lost Plex last week and I couldn't find him anywhere. I live how
you get so excited when you find that little yellow robot and how your
voice says "pex" when you see him. I couldn't let him go lost forever.
I got you a new one. Daddy said it would show up ao just wait. Did I
listen? Nope. Next time I might. So for now you have dualing Plexi.
Either way mommy is happy because you are.

Aquarium Again

We had some visitors in town the last few days (more pictures to come) and we went down to the aquarium again. Another hit for Miles. You can see he is glued to the tanks as the fish swim by. He was a handful as he ran from one side of the place to the other. Little guy will go up to a full tank and wiggle his way up the front and put up both hands to the tank and just stare.

Day at the Beach

Today we went to the beach. February and hitting the surf and sand. It makes me so excited for the spring and summer months to come. we are going to log some great hours out there and bring home piles of sand in our pockets. We went for a quick trip before visiting daddy at work for a few. I am slowly learning some tricks to making the trip easier on me and less messy all the way around. Pretty soon we will have it dialed.

You love the water and laugh as the waves come in and out over your little legs. We play in the sand and bury your feet. You uncover them and say "More More" over and over.

I think after 10 years of living in LA that I will finally start to take advantage of living 10 minutes from the beach.

I have to admit that my new favorite smell is baby mixed with salt water and a splash of sunscreen.

I am not a fan of taking my nice camera to the beach but I also kick myself when I don't. I just don't think I can handle you, the sand and lugging all the stuff down there while keeping my camera safe and clean. I tried it today and was chicken. I only took it out for 5 minutes to snap and then put it away. You were too into eating the sand instead of looking at me. So I put the camera away and decided to dive into playing with you instead. we were both happier.

My Friend Anna

Miles today got to go play at Anna's house. When I picked him up after yet another preschool tour, he was saying her name over and over. Had a good time without me? Shocking.

Legos

Miles likes do dig in the legos and pull them apart. Sometimes he makes the best faces as his little body tries with all his might to get the pieces separated.
