13 Months Old

13 Months old today. You are kissing now and have added a few other words to your vocab. balloon, banana and bubble, car.

You are on the move now more than ever. You are climbing in and out of everything and you are so curious.

In the kitchen you follow me around and close all the drawers behind me. You close the fridge too. Might keep you around. it is so handy. You also can now climb up on the chair in your room and our bed via the bench. Once you get up there you look back with such a big grin.

You are drooling so much right now. I wonder what tooth is next.

And finally today you signed Cheese. A new one for you.

Only a little over a month until I am home with you full time.

What no nap looks like

5:30 and such a tired boy!

Missed nap today and didn't want to take one later this afternoon. Yikes tonight was painful. He went down at 6:15. Please please please don't wake up at 5 am!

Yo Gabba Live

Saturday was Yo Gabba Gabba Live and it was AWESOME!

It was the first live show they ever preformed. The USC homecoming game was the same time so it was a bit crazy getting to the Shrine.

Miles warmed up to the show and ended up loving it. He danced up front as Biz worked his beat of the day. Balloons fell from the ceiling and Miles lit up. Bubbles flooded the audience and the little man couldn't be happier. I wasn't sure how he would like the show but this 13 month old suprised me. I gladly would take him again.

Thanks DJ Lance Rock.

New Crop

cropped this photo. I love it and now it is even better without the random cars in back and adjusting it slightly with the "rule of thirds"

Shout-out to my hubs!
Evan you are a creative, loving father who always has as smile ready for Miles even when he runs to the bed to wake you up after you just pulled your third all-nighter.

Kisses

IMG_2168

Just a note that this morning you started kissing. Before you would just move toward me or put your hand up to your mouth and "throw" a kiss. Not this morning! you started kissing the big monkey stuffed animal and then moved onto my diaper bag. You found the pattern interesting and picked out an animal on there and kissed him over and over. After you were done with that make out session you moved onto kissing your little people cow. You really made the rounds this morning. Hope the kids at daycare are safe.

ps. save some for Mommy! She will need some after spending all day away from you.

Big Boy Swing

Big boy swing for you today at the park. Today was a drool infested day and the only thing that got your mind off of the teething was getting out of the house. All day we played. Outside our place in the am. Then on to a class where you were so happy and curious. Climbing on everything laughing as you explored.

You also kept up with the latest trend of getting in and out of places over and over as you got in the boat/horse/tube and then back out over and over perfecting your little skill set. Then down for a nap only to wake to a trip to the park.

You had your share of fun today and so did Mommy.

Second Visit to the Zoo

Went to the zoo with Shandi on Saturday. Weather was perfect. As Miles gets older and older each outing becomes more and more fun.

All Done!

Dinner the other night and I got the "More Pictures Mom... really?" face  Miles also has really picked up on the sign language. Below he is waving his hands in the air  telling me is all done. Wonder if he was talking about dinner or done with the flash in his face.  Either way, I swooped him up and gave him kisses.

Above are a few more shots from Miles' latest obsession. Getting INSIDE of things. He crawls into everything. Any basket he can. Lately it is the red wagon walker. Once he gets in I push him all around the house. Helpful for learning the sign for GO and STOP. This morning we did it again and little guy is already picking up the GO sign.

Thanks to my first immigrant and black friends for the fit... I pulled
mad chicks.

Monkey

Crazy man is all over the place lately. Climbling up the couch and
sitting on top of it only to then have a sock snack. Phew all in a
days work

Playtime!

Jayden came over for a little playtime yesterday. Miles was a busy boy and Jayden found him entertaining. Laughing at him the entire time. Jayden is such a happy, talkative boy.

Miles said 'Thanks for coming over" in the form of a hug before Jayden had to go home. It was too cute. I missed some good shots just melting over it for a while.
