Bath Time Made Fun

Big mess to clean up? Miles always seems to be messy. I take it as a badge of honor. Little man had fun and is wearing it all over.

Bath time is generally an easy time for Miles. He likes the water. Splashes and laughs. Yesterday on parenthacks.com I saw this post.

Shampoo bubbles during bathime, so easy. So so easy. Why didn't I think of this before? So last night I blew soap bubbles magically from my hand as Miles reached up with his chubby finger and popped each one. He laughed more and more as he patiently waited for the bubbles to be big enough for his fingers to poke.

Adding this to the parent repertoire.

Flashback: One Year ago Today

This little guy found out quickly that nothing in life is free. We had him working for his milk and clean diapers off the bat.  Never too early....

Now that Miles' is a year old, I will be posting flashbacks now and then. Just to remember how far he has come. Plus they are so darn cute!

I love Babies in Plain White Onesies

I love babies in plain white onesies. So much these days have taglines across the chest distracting the simple beauty that is baby. The white onesie let's you focus on the chub, cheeks and tummy instead of the marketing message. When i want to take pictures of Miles being Miles, i prefer diapers, white onesies or best of all Naked baby! ugh, need more baby butt photos around here!

Doesn't Have Mommy's vision

This is proof miles does not have his Mommy's vision because somehow
he pointed out these balloons that I could barely see. Good to know he
won't be wearing coke bottles :)

Itchy Shutter Finger

I haven't taken pictures of Miles in about 2 weeks. I took a few minutes out of today and snapped my little man playing in the late afternoon sunlight. Chubby arms, overflowing cheeks and tiny tiny teeth. I think each month with this guy gets better than the last. He is using his signing more and more learning new signs. Lately he tells me "all done" when am mid-way through a diaper change. Yeah sorry buddy, not all done.

Little Monkey... tricks or treats

Miles' circled the complex today as a monkey collecting little yummys in his felt pumpkin.

The ears only lasted so long. He actually walked his fair share. Wasn't upset or scared by any of the costumes and charmed the pants off of more than a few.

Look what Miles came home with?

I love Therese at daycare. She made these with the kids today. Miles
"helped" with it. Now I have some decorations for tomorrow

Tonight the bath was an excuse to to snap a few pictures with my phone

He loves books

Flipping the pages over and over. Little guy loves it. I had to lather
his face before bed because he was a tad chapped from playing outside

Good Morning Daddy

Daddy worked late last night and pulled another all nighter. Miles didn't get to see him this morning but wanted to send his love anyway.

Second Haircut

This one was less dramatic but we had more cries. We knew better than
to take him. Short nap and long day of running errands= crank. Oh well
he was still stinking cute.
Just trimmed by the ears and in the back.

Sunday with Mommy

Daddy is off getting his tattoo finished so wr had the day together.
The LB Aquarium was so much fun with you the second time around. You
are now able to walk up to the tanks and stare right at the fish.
You then went to Ikea with mr and enjoyed a hot dog after shopping
Now you are napping. You fell asleep so fast. Guess I wore you out.
